On July EUROGRUAS founded the company EUROGRUAS SERVIÇOS EOLICOS DO BRASIL, LTDA. aimed at offering the Brazilian wind market a complete solution for the lifting, electro-mechanic assembly, commissioning and maintenance of wind turbines.

EUROGRUAS’ Heavy Lift Division has taken care of all the transport and lifting engineering included in Cartagena’s C-10 project, amounting to a total of 50 pieces of equipment.

The C10 project that Repsol is building in Cartagena has brought along new records, this time in the area of transports. This was the first time that such heavy and large pieces had been transported on Spanish roads.

EUROGRUAS has taken part in the construction of liquefied-gas platform Adriatic LNG Terminal, as the crane company chosen by all the firms that have participated in this project. EUROGRUAS replaces the regenerator’s CAP during the stop of the FCC unit at Cepsa Gibraltar’s Refinery.
The replacement of the regenerator’s CAP, the reactor’s CAP and the cyclones was conducted during the stop that took place last October at the FCC unit of Cepsa Gibraltar’s Refinery.

EUROGRUAS participates in the construction of a prefabricated-concrete viaduct over river Duero, which is 277 metres long and has two roads 11.7 metres wide each, between which there is a spacing measuring 20.5 metres. It is a hyperstatic bridge with a span layout of 35.00 + 36.00 + 49.50 + 72.00 + 49.50 + 35.00 metres. In order to cover the 72.00-metre span over the river, prefabricated V-shaped piles have been designed so that the depth section of the approaching-span deck can be supported.

Acciona assumed the manufacture and assembly of Guadalfeo viaduct over Rules dam. Machines with different capacity were used to build this bridge, and EUROGRUAS contributed with the heaviest ones: two 600-ton lattice cranes, one Terex Demag TC 2800 and one Terex Demag CC 2800, necessary to lift some sections weighing up to 310 tons.
