On July EUROGRUAS founded the company EUROGRUAS SERVIÇOS EOLICOS DO BRASIL, LTDA. aimed at offering the Brazilian wind market a complete solution for the lifting, electro-mechanic assembly, commissioning and maintenance of wind turbines.
After the creation of the company, the first two contracts were signed in Brazil. The first one, Gargaú wind farm, with 17 wind turbines, was signed with the Brazilian promoter Gesa. The second one, aimed at setting up 15 wind turbines in the wind farms of Piraguá and Gravatá, was signed with the Spanish promoter Gestamp.
