Repsol awarded EUROGRUAS the work of lifting of heavy equipment during the recent maintenance stop of Puertollano's refinery.
The maneuvers of remodeling realized in the unit of lubricants U-701, consisting of the special transport with 12 axes of self-propelled, and lifting of two modules, It was a challenge due to the limited workspace.
For the lifting works was selected a crawler crane Terex Demag CC2800-1, equipped with outriggers to compensate the change of the centers of gravity of each one of the modules, whose dimensions were whose dimensions were 5.8 mx 11 m x11 m and 120 t weight the first and 5.8 mx 11 mx 11.9 m and 125 t the second.
Other works with the same crane were executed within the same stop, such as replacement of ferrule of the vacuum column (14 t).
