EUROGRUAS has taken part in the construction of Acciona’s new wind farm in Els Escambrons, municipality of Almatret (Lleida). This farm has a power output of 48 MW, 16 windmills 100 metres high, with a power of 3 MW each.
The assembly of each wind turbine has been carried out on a voussoir of reinforced concrete. This is the first time this system has been used in Spain and, in order to do that, EUROGRUAS has employed a 600-ton Terex Demag CC2800-1 NT, that is, a narrow-track lattice crawler crane.
