EUROGRUAS breaks a new lifting record in Spain, within Repsol Cartagena’s C-10 Project

The lifting of one of the hydrocracking reactors of the new refinery Repsol is building in Cartagena has led EUROGRUAS to break a new record in load lifting in Spain.

The maneuver has been conducted using a crawler lattice crane Liebherr LR11350 with a capacity of 1,350 tons. To clamp the largest reactor of the hydrocracker unit (1,306 tons) EUROGRUAS has used a tail frame capable of lifting pieces of equipment up to 1,500 tons in weight, specially designed for this project and set up on 36 lines of SPMTs composed of 3 modules with 12 parallel axles each.
