Heavy Lift division of EUROGRUAS has been selected again by Cepsa to carry out the special transport and assembly of a preflash column for its refinery of Palos de la Frontera in Huelva.
The preflash column of 94 tons of weight, 24.5 m in length and 6 meters in diameter, has been moved from the port of Huelva to the crude unit I of the refinery by 12axles of modular trailer GOLDHOFER driven by a tractor truck IVECO joined by double drawbar.
To carry out the work of lifting the units selected have been two telescopic cranes, a Liebherr 1400-7.1 and a Terex Demag AC 700. In this case, and due of the limited space, the equipment of 400 tonnes has operated as main crane.
